Student Missions Trip

Come experience one of the premier short-term missions experiences in the Twin Cities. We blend fully customizable ministry experiences with outstanding worship, teaching, and leadership development.

What Does the Ministry Experience Look Like?

"Fully Customizable" is the key! We connect with each youth pastor individually to carefully craft ministry experiences according to what you want your students to experience. Consider what they're good at, where you want them stretched, and how you want to expose them to reaching the hurting and lost.

Do you want more labor/service projects like community gardens and painting houses, or more relational/outreach opportunities like visiting homeless camps and going door to door? Or a mix of both! Your unique ministry plan connects you with our incredible friends and ministry partners across St. Paul and Minneapolis.

Our goals are for ministry efforts to be like a "Turbo Strip" for our partners advancing their mission and the Kingdom, and for your students to see and experience God's transformative work as they step out of their comfort zones!

2026 Theme: "Love Unconditionally!"

We're excited to explore this through morning devotions and evening sessions with inspiring worship and outstanding teaching. We'll focus on how to experience God's love and share it with those around us. The Gospel will be clearly presented and challenges that can be taken back into real life will give every opportunity for students to grow and have their lives transformed.

Leadership Development

Along with built-in times for you to lead and shepherd your groups (morning devos & evening sharing times), you know that the bulk of effective ministry happens in the gaps. Whether it's meals around a table, van rides to and from ministry sites, or those "Can I talk to you about something" conversations, this trip creates plenty of "gaps" for life-on-life ministry with your students.

Accommodations

Bring your twin-sized (only) air mattresses or cots and bedding for this classic missions experience! Groups will be given classrooms in separate boys/girls areas. Locker rooms with showers are on site.

Student Trip FAQ

What is the age requirement?

This trip is for Middle School and up. We typically assume students have completed 6th grade, but we leave it to the discretion of the Youth Pastor on who they bring.

How are food allergies handled?

Our caterers do a wonderful job providing for many food allergies. Note these on the registration form and we'll follow up to see if we need to provide food according to your issue (TBD additional cost), or if you'll bring your own food to supplement the menu.

When will we know our ministry assignments?

Ministry site assignments will be completed and sent out at least 14 days in advance. The sooner your church registers, the easier it is to get your requested ministry types!

What about transportation?

All groups are responsible for getting themselves to and from the trip and to and from each ministry site each day. Enhance Ministries does not provide transportation.

What are the leader requirements?

Groups should bring a minimum ratio of 1 leader for every 10 students, with an appropriate mix of male and female leaders. All leaders should be vetted by your church including having a background check.

How do showers work?

We have access to all 4 locker rooms in the building. Adult leaders shower at different times or locker rooms than students, and everyone wears swimsuits in locker rooms with open showers. Clotheslines will be set up for swimsuits and wet towels.

Family Mission Trip

Hosted at New Life Church of Woodbury. A unique experience for families and church groups blending missions activities, quality teaching for all ages, and an environment that fosters genuine, authentic community.

Don't let the word "Family" confuse you! We're excited to welcome grandparents, singles, empty nesters, and anyone of any age who wants to come serve!

Ministry

Connect with ministry partners across St. Paul and Minneapolis doing amazing Kingdom work year-round. Church groups and families serve in diverse ministries matched to your preferences. Experience God's transformative work as you step out of your comfort zone for His Kingdom.

Teaching

Our 2026 theme is "Love Unconditionally!" Explore this through morning devotions and evening sessions with inspiring worship and teaching. Children in 5th grade and younger have age-appropriate activities. On the final evening, families participate in a special "Rite of Passage" where parents publicly affirm and celebrate their children's growth.

Community

One of the greatest benefits of short-term missions is deepening relationships. As you serve, worship, and study together, you'll strengthen bonds within your family and with others. Approach the trip with humility, vulnerability, and enthusiasm to experience the authentic community we're building.

Lodging Options

Church Classrooms

Bring your twin-sized air mattresses and bedding for a classic missions experience! Space is limited—first churches/families to register get priority. Groups can split parents/kids or mix rooms.

Camping

Have a camper or tent? We'll section off our back parking lot and green space for camping. Great option for having your own space while enjoying community with others!

Hotel

Build relationships with other families on the trip. Great if space at church fills up or if your church wants all families together. Hotel cost is additional.

Host Families

Especially great for individual families! Be hosted by a family from New Life Church for lasting relationships—and a bed more comfortable than an air mattress!

Family Trip FAQ

I'm a single, empty nester, or grandparent. Can I still come?

Absolutely! The word "Family" essentially means this trip is not just for students like our other week is. We hope you'll join our family of families for this week!

How does food work?

Breakfast: At the church for those staying there; hotel lobby for hotel guests; with host families; or home for locals. Lunch: Cooler lunches packed at church and taken to ministry sites. Dinner: All eat at church Sunday-Thursday. Friday is free day—families are on their own.

How are food allergies handled?

Our caterers do a wonderful job providing for many food allergies. Note these on registration and we'll follow up to see if we need to provide food (TBD additional cost) or if you'll supplement the menu.

When will we know our ministry assignments?

Ministry site assignments are completed and sent out at least 14 days in advance. The sooner you register, the easier it is to get your preferred ministry types!

What are the camping guidelines?

Only portable fire pits are allowed, and you must bring your own firewood.

How does transportation work?

While church groups may come together in church or rental vans, most families drive themselves to/from the trip and to/from ministry sites daily. Enhance does not provide transportation.

Local Missions

Win Your Jerusalem

Jesus told His disciples to start in Jerusalem—their home community—before going to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8). Win Your Jerusalem helps your church do the same.

What Is Win Your Jerusalem?

Win Your Jerusalem is a customizable local missions experience designed for churches who want to reach their own community. Rather than traveling to a distant location, we help you see your own neighborhood as a mission field and equip you to engage it effectively.

Enhance Ministries partners with your church to design a missions week (or weekend) that fits your context, connects you with local ministry partners, and mobilizes your congregation to serve right where they live.

The same transformative experience of our Twin Cities trips—customized ministry, intentional community, and spiritual growth—brought to your hometown.

Why Local Missions?

Short-term mission trips often end when the team comes home. Win Your Jerusalem is different—it's designed to catalyze ongoing ministry in your community. The relationships you build, the ministries you partner with, and the needs you address are all in your own backyard.

Your church walks away with:

  • New connections with local ministry partners
  • A framework for ongoing community engagement
  • Deeper relationships within your congregation
  • A vision for reaching your neighbors for Christ

How It Works

1. Discovery Call: We learn about your church, community, and vision for local outreach.

2. Partnership Planning: We identify local ministries and service opportunities that align with your goals.

3. Experience Design: Together we craft a customized schedule blending service, teaching, and community building.

4. Your Jerusalem Week: We guide your team through a transformative missions experience in your own community.

5. Next Steps: We help you build on the momentum with ongoing engagement strategies.
